Boston Medical Library

The Boston Medical Library is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1877 to establish and maintain a Library of Medicine and the Allied Sciences, and to promote and advance medical science and education. In 1960, the Boston Medical Library and the Harvard Medical School Library entered into an agreement to combine their collections and administration in one location, the Francis A. Countway Library of Medicine.
