Simon, Norman

Born in New York City in 1927, Norma Simon worked as a teacher before moving into the authorship of children's books, including writing and editing educational materials. She is known for her books on Jewish holidays, as well as work that reflects a concern with breaking stereotypes, whether associated with gender, race, or age.
