Campbell, Ian, 1942-
Public servant, poet. Ian Campbell obtained a Master of Arts in Indonesian Studies from the University of Sydney (1989). He has published poems in English and Indonesian, convened several poetry performance events in Sydney, and has had much liaison with ethnic and refugee communities Sydney through his employment with the Commonwealth Public Service. Great-nephew of Arthur Wheen, translator of novels by Erich Maria Remarque. Campbell also has an interest in inter-war European literature.
