Midwest Universities Consortium for International Activities

MUCIA, which has its headquarters at Ohio State University, is a consortium of Big Ten Universities, including Ohio State, Michigan State, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. The consortium draws on experts from the member universities to administer projects and exchanges in agriculture, higher education, health care and research. The organization includes a Board of Directors (the basic decision-making mechanism) and a Council of Presidents (providing overall policy guidance).
