Gair, Vincent Clair, 1901-1980
V.C. Gair was MLA for South Brisbane, 1932-1960, Secretary for Mines (1924-1947), for Labour and Employment (1947-1950); was Treasurer (1950-1952), Premier and Chief Secretary of Queensland Labor Party and the Democratic Labor Party, and was Australian Ambassador to Ireland 1974-1976.
