Davis, P. O. (Posey Oliver), 1890-1973

Director, Alabama Cooperative Extension Service (1937-1959), Auburn University, Alabama. Prior to his tenure as the Extension Service Director, Davis was a horticulturalist with the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station (1916-1917), an agriculturalist with Southern Railway (1917-1918), worked with boys's 4-H Clubs (1918-1920), worked with the periodical Progressive Farmer (1920), and served as director of publicity at Auburn University.
