Whittenberger, James Laverre
Whittenberger (Chicago, M.D. 1938) was James Stevens Simmons Professor at Harvard School of Public Health and director of the Kresge Center for Environmental Health at Harvard from 1958 to 1983. He has studied the physiology of respiration and effects of air contamination on respiratory diseases.
