Wright, Abigail

Abigail (Abbie) and Martha (Mattie) Wright were sisters from Corvallis, Oregon, who earned degrees from Oregon Agricultural College in the 1880s-1890s. Abbie Wright graduated from Corvallis College in 1882 and was a teacher in Corvallis, Yaquina, Albany, and Portland. She died between 1917 and 1922. Mattie Wright graduated from Oregon Agricultural College in 1896. She was born in Corvallis in 1876 and married James Lorraine Davidson in 1897. She died in Portland in the 1950s. The Wright family also used the spelling "Right" for the family name.
