Smith, Gerald, 1939-
Gerald Smith earned his Ph. D. in aerospace engineering from Auburn University. In his career, he worked for NASA and GE on various engine propulsion projects. He has been stationed at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama and the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Before accepting a position at Georgia Institute of Technology, Smith was the deputy director at the Stennis Space Center from 1989-1995.
