Schumpeter, Elizabeth Boody
Romaine Elizabeth Boody Schumpeter (1898-1953): economist, author, and expert on East Asia (Radcliffe College, B.A., 1920, M.A., 1925, Ph.D., 1934), worked for the Bureau of International Research at Harvard, 1935-1940, assisted her husband, fellow economist Joseph A. Schumpeter, in his research and writing, was a college teacher and assistant editor of the Quarterly Journal of Economics, ran a small nursery, and lectured and wrote on East Asian economics and politics.
