Robert Cheanault Givler, 1884-1975 was a Tufts professor ion the following capacities: Assistant Professor of Philosophy, (1918-21); Professor of Philosophy, (1921-25); Fletcher Professor of Philosophy, (1925-44); Hunt Professor of Psychology, endowed chair and Chairman of Psychology Department, (1944-51); Professor and Chairman of the Dept. of Aesthetics and Creative Imagination (1945-52).
