Clark, George M.
George M. Clark attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, yet joined the Navy prior to his senior year, in 1940. After the war he returned to Boulder and worked at the First National Bank. He served on the Library Commission when they were developing plans for the library near Boulder Creek. Clark served on the Boulder City Council for six years, on the Human Resources Commission, and as president of the Nomads for two years. After his banking career, he took a job as Assistant Director for Fiscal Affairs with the Biologial Sciences Curriculum Study, and served as Secretary of the Boulder Rotary Club.
