Pescott, Edward Edgar, 1872-1954
Botanist and horticulturist. Principal of the Government School of Horticulture at Burnley, Melbourne, 1909-1916. Pomologist and seed-tester in the Victorian Department of Agriculture, 1917-1937. Author of many books, and contributor of articles to agricultural and horticultural journals. Secretary and Treasurer for the Federal Council of Wattle Day Leagues of Australia, 1912-1922.
