Quinn, T. Anthony. Staff member, Office of Assembly Speaker; Chief Consultant for Elections and Reapportionment, Assembly Republican Caucus; and Fair Political Practices Commissioner. 1941-
T. Anthony Quinn has held several staff positions with the CaliforniaState Legislature. He worked as a special assistant to California Assembly Speaker Bob Monagan, 1969-1971, and then as Policy and Reapportionment Consultant in the office of the Assembly Republican Consultants. He then joined the staff of Evelle Younger, the Attorney General of California, whom he served as a special assistant. Younger then appointed Quinn to the Fair Political Practices Commission, and served as a commissioner from 1976 to 1981. In 1981 he returned to the Assembly Republican Caucus and served as Chief Consultant for Election and Reapportionment and Policy Director. From 1985 to 1989 he served as Director of the Office of Economic Research in the California Department of Commerce. Since 1989 Dr. Quinn has been Vice President and Director of Public Affairs at the Braun Ketchum Public Relations firm. Dr. Quinn is the author of Carving Up California: A History of Redistricting, 1951-1984.
