Farthest North Girl Scout Council (Fairbanks, Alaska)
Mrs. Jesse Bloom organized the first Fairbanks, Alaska, Girl Scout troop in 1925. Fifty years later there were 1,200 girls involved in the Girl Scout program in Fairbanks.
