Chase, Elizabeth D.

Bunker Hill Monument Association, incorporated in 1823 to purchase Revolutionary War battle sites and to construct a monument to them. In 1919 the Bunker Hill Monument was turned over by the Association to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts which in 1976 transferred it to the National Park Service.
