Member of the Kentucky General Assembly for Louisville, Ky.; worked for the Mammoth Insurance Company for more than 40 years; servied in the Red Cross during World War II and help organized the USO in Louisville; organized the Business and Professional Club for black women in Lousiville; daughter of Anna Belle Leer Taylor; married Horace Street 1930 (d. 1942); married James Kidd (d. 1972); d. Oct. 20, 1999.
