Pomerantz, Charlotte

Charlotte Pomerantz was born July 24, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York. She married Carl Marzani, a writer in 1966. They have two children. Ms. Pomerantz received a B.A. Degree from Sarah Lawrence College. She is a writer, but also has worked as a salesperson, waitress, researcher, copy editor, and editor. Ms. Pomerantz is the winner of several awards and distinctions for her children's books. Her contributions to children's literature include witty picture books, insight into other cultures, and poetry collections.
