Colton, William Francis, 1841-ca. 1918.
William Colton was a Civil War soldier whose post-war activities took him west to Kansas, Nevada and Utah where he engaged in the coal and lumber businesses as well as serving in many capacities for the Louisiana and Missouri River Railroad Company.
