First Church (Boston, Mass.)
First Church in Boston was established in 1630. Second Church was founded in 1649 by members of First Church. In 1968 the congregations of First Church and Second Church merged, forming the First and Second Church in Boston. In 2005 the congregation voted to change its name to First Church in Boston.
