Florida. State Theater Board
The State Theater Board of Florida was created in 1980 (Ch. 80-288, Laws) as an advisory board for the State Theater Program in the Dept. of State, Division of Cultural Affairs. Its duties were to develop criteria and formulate policy for state theater programs; to establish priority use of the state theaters; to propose contracts with professional theater management groups; and to propose additional state theaters. The Board was abolished in 1990 (Ch. 83-265, Laws).
