University of Cincinnati. Tangeman University Center
The Tangeman University Center is the University of Cincinnati's student union. The original north wing, which was known at that time as The Union, was built in 1937 as a place for students to gather and student organizations to meet . The south wing was added in 1965 with the financial assistance of Mrs. Walter Tangeman and named for her son, Donald Core Tangeman. In 2001, the building was closed and completely renovated. It reopened in 2004.
