Business and Professional Women's Club (Lynchburg, Va.)

Began as Business Women's Club in 1917 in Lynchburg, Va. In 1919, established as one of four charter clubs, with 98 charter members, by the Virginia Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs. The National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs was founded on July 15, 1919. The Lynchburg group withdrew from the state association in 1921, but re-entered in 1922.
