Eula, Joe, 1925-2004

Joe Eula (1925-2004) was an American fashion illustrator prominent in the 1960s and 1970s. After being discharged from the U.S. Army in 1945, he attended the Art Students League of New York, then beginning to work with magazines, newspapers, and designers covering fashion; in the late 1960s he began to work with design in theatre. He held the post of creative director at the American fashion house, Halston, from the 1970s to 1980.
