Jondahl, Lynn

H. Lynn Jondahl was born in Emmetsburg, Iowa, on July 10, 1936. He received his B.A. degree in history from the University of Iowa in 1958. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Yale University Divinity School in 1962, and was ordained a minister in the United Church of Christ and took up a post as campus pastor at California State College in Los Angeles. He held this post until 1966 when he moved to Michigan. He held several religious positions before being elected from East Lansing in Nov. of 1972 to the Michigan House of Representatives, representing the 59th District. As a state representative, he has acted as a protector of consumer rights.
