The Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA), Local 83, located in Portsmouth, Ohio, is a union of construction workers. Originally called the International Hod Carriers' Building and Common Laborers' Union of America, the LIUNA has been affiliated with AFL-CIO, the Laborers' District Council, the Ohio State Building and Construction Trades Council, the South Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council, and the Laborers' Home Association.
