Oko, S. Adolph

Oko was a librarian, scholar and philanthropist who lived in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born in Russia in 1883, educated in Germany, and emigrated to New York, before being appointed chief librarian at the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati in 1906. He was also an expert on Spinoza. Oko died in Cincinnati in 1944.
