Walt Whitman Democratic Club.
The Walt Whitman Democratic Club was headquartered at 1719 Rodman Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was the new name given to the Gay Democratic Caucus, which had formed in 1976 after the primary elections. The club supported city, state and national candidates, as well as the March on Washington and other local and national events. In 1976 Club President, Jeffrey Briton ran for the Democratic State Committee.
