Rubins, Edward J.
Edward J. Rubins was born 7 February 1915 in Tenafly, New Jersey. He received a B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agriculture from Rutgers University (1940, 1942) and his Ph.D. in 1948 from the University of Maryland. He was hired by the University of Connecticut in 1948 as an Assistant Professor of Agronomy and promoted to Associate Professor in 1953.
