Harvard University. Fly Club.
The Harvard chapter of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity was first founded in 1836-1837, and surrendered its charter in 1865. The organization continued, however, as the A.D. Club, which remains one of Harvard's final clubs today. In 1879, undergraduates at Harvard resurrected the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity, and received a new charter. This charter lapsed in 1906, and in 1910, the club officially changed its name to the Fly Club, a name by which it had commonly been known for years.
