Meyer, Johann Georg, 1813-1886
The German painter, engraver and lithographer is known for his portraits and genre scenes. He was a member of the academy of arts in Amsterdam. In 1852 the artist moved to Berlin, where he became a professor in 1863. The artist signed his work Meyer von Bremer.
