Southwestern Sociological Association
Outgrowth of the Sociology Section of the Southwestern Social Science Association founded in 1920. By 1972, the Southwestern Sociological Association described itself as a scientific association, yet sought harmony for development of the social sciences by remaining affiliated with the larger Southwestern Social Science Association.
