Donatelli, Rosemary V. 1929-1980.

Rosemary Victoria Donatelli, educator, was born on December 25, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois. Donatelli studied music education at Mundelein College, graduating in 1952. Following graduation she worked on her masters at Columbia University, graduating in 1956 with a major in Voice and minors in Musicology and History. She began teaching at Loyola University Chicago in 1957. From 1957 to 1961 she was an assistant professor in the Department of Education. From 1962 to 1963 Donatelli taught at Loyola's newly founded Rome Center. In 1971 she recieved her Ph. D in History of Education from the University of Chicago, following which she was appointed as the Chairman of the Department of Foundations in the School of Education at Loyola. She taught at Loyola until her death in 1980.
