Aiken Hospital and Relief Society (Aiken, S.C.)
The Aiken Hospital and Relief Society was founded in 1917 by New York philanthropist Charles Oliver Iselin (1854-1932) and his wife, Hope Goddard Iselin (b.1868), who visited Aiken annually as part of the town's "winter colony." With the exception of several years in the 1920s, this hospital has served the city of Aiken ever since.
