Sporck, Charles E.
Charlie Sporck became vice president and general manager of Fairchild Semiconductor during a period when sales grew from a few hundred thousand dollars a year to hundreds of millions. He later took over the management of National Semiconductor when it was a small company struggling to stay in business. It, too, became a multibillion dollar giant. He conducted these interviews while preparing his book SPINOFF; A PERSONAL HISTORY OF THE INDUSTRY THAT CHANGED THE WORLD, 2001.
