Manigault family.
The Manigault family of Charleston, S.C., and plantations in the Berkeley District, S.C., and on Argyle Island in the Savannah River, Ga., included Charles, merchant and rice planter; and his sons Gabriel Edward, planter, physician, and curator of the Museum of Natural History at the College of Charleston; and Louis, planter.
