Christensen, Joe J.

Christensen was called to First Quorum of the Seventy in April 1989, while serving as president of Ricks College. He served in Brazil Area Presidency, 1989-1992, including two years as Area President. In August 1993 he was called to Presidency of the Seventy, where he served until granted emeritus status in 1999. While serving in Presidency, he was also executive director of Curriculum Department (1993-1995) and Correlation Department (1995-1999).
