Alabama Cattlemen's Association
The Alabama Cattlemen's Association, a statewide organization of beef cattle producers, was organized in 1944. Its purpose was to promote and develop the industry through public relations, education, research, marketing, and legislation. As of 1983 the Association had over 15,000 members in all Alabama counties.
