Lichty, Marion C. (Marion Cox), 1915-2000
Marion Cox Lichty enlisted in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC, later known as the Women's Army Corps) in 1942 at Fort Des Moines, Iowa. That was the start of her career in the military which spanned from World War II to her retirement from the United States Air Force Reserves (Women's Air Force) in 1965.
