Salter family.
Family of professional photographers; Otway and Elizabeth Salter were proprietors of Elite Photo Studio (later O & T.E. Salter) in Newberry, S.C., and of Salter Photo Studio in Chester, S.C.; Jesse and Mamie Salter (later Mamie Salter Kibler) formed another sibling partnership in Athens, Ga.; father J.Z. Salter ran the Old Reliable Studio in Newberry.
