Kilbourn, Dwight C. (Dwight Canfield), 1837-1914

Lawyer and author, of Litchfield, Conn.; served with 2nd Conn. Heavy Artillery during the Civil War and was secretary of his regiment for 47 years after the war; active in many civic, veterans, and masonic organizations; author of Bench and Bar of Litchfield County, 1709-1909 and other works; and Litchfield postmaster. Married Sarah M. Hopkins in 1866.
