Standard Steel Association for Employee Representation.

The Standard Steel Works originated in 1795 and adopted the name Standard Steel in 1875. It was a major producer of iron and steel railroad car wheels, headquartered in Pittsburgh with manufacturing operations located in Burnham, Pennsylvania. The company sponsored an employee association as an alternative to an industrial labor union.
