Center on Halsted (Chicago, Ill.)

Founded in 1973 as Gay Horizons; later operated Horizons Clinic; then became known as Horizons Community Services; renamed Center on Halsted in 2003. Organization offers counseling, an information hotline, HIV/STD testing, social events for youth, etc. Donors to the building fund included Mayor Richard M. Daley and Billie Jean King.
