Jamieson, Ronald B., 1913-
Ronald B. Jamieson (b. 1918), circuit judge in Hawaii, called for a recount of votes in the 1960 Presidential election in Hawaii on December 6, 1960. The judge refused to halt the recounting of ballots in thirty-four disputed precincts despite protests by Republicans. On December 27, 1960, Judge Jamieson ruled that President-elect Kennedy won the presidential election in Hawaii by a 115-vote margin.
