Miller, Thomas F.
Indiana resident who joined the 29th Illinois Infantry in 1861. He participated in battle at Fort Henry, Fort Donelson, Pittsburgh Landing and Corinth. Prior to joining the army he lived and farmed with Benjamin W. Newton in Parke County, Indiana to whom he wrote the letters.
