McGrady, Colin

The collection contains one scrapbook about Indianapolis, Ind. theaters kept by C. McGrady, ca. 1900-1910. The scrapbook holds newspaper clippings of reviews of plays, dance performances, operas and vaudeville shows, as well as program photos of actors, dancers and singers. The performances were held at English's Opera House, the Murat Theatre, and the Grand Opera House. The photos and clippings include actors and entertainers such as Sarah Bernhardt, Fannie Brice, Ethel Barrymore, and Eddie Foy. Also included are partial scripts by Francis Mellen, including "Cinderella of the Movies" and "Apartment No. 13". These were originally laid in the back of the scrapbook.
