Stevens, James W., 1765 or 6-1841.
Born in New Jersey; graduated from Princeton College. Served as clerk in the Holland Land Company office from 1799 to his death in 1841. Also served as the first Genesee County clerk, 4 Apr. 1803-6 Mar. 1810.
