Whitson, Thomas B.
Thomas B Whitson was a chartered accountant working for the accountancy firm, Messrs Whitson and Methuen in Edinburgh. He was appointed to administer the funds for the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition, 1902-1904 (leader William Speirs Bruce). Bruce named Cape Whitson for him.
