Assumption Cemetery (Austin, Tex.)

Originally a small cemetery for the Congregation of Holy Cross. Now owned by the Catholic Cemetery Association and governed by St. Edward's University. The Association was chartered in 1952 to oversee Assumption Cemetery and Mount Calvary Cemetery. First Brother of Holy Cross to be buried there was Benedict Baumgartner. Sister Joseph is one of several Sisters of the Presentation buried there also.
