Nu Sigma Nu. Alpha chapter (University of Michigan)

Medical fraternity established in 1882 at the University of Michigan. William J. Mayo was among the six founding members. The fraternity became national in 1886 and included 40 chapters by the 1940s. The national organization disbanded in the 1970s, and the Alpha chapter of Nu Sigma disbanded in 2008.
